C52 spay neuter exempt purchase approvals
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.
The source document
The county’s minutes for Board of County Commissioners, May 19, 2020
The published PDF, as served by the county. This item is one entry in it.
What was said
Machine transcription of 2m of recording, with speaker names inferred from voice matching. 70% of 10 lines carry a name. It shows what was said, not what was decided, and both the words and the names can be wrong.
I motion passes five zero. Thank you so much. Um C fifty two, Mr. Shumay.
Good morning commissioners. Uh Madam Clerk, uh this is Mike Schumate, uh Director of Uh Animal Services. C fifty two is a uh approval for exempt purchases uh vets, uh various vets throughout the county uh that participated in our spay neuter program. Uh for the remainder of that point. 21. Uh it's revised because the original memo had the full budget and fund balance amounts rather than just the amounts that we're actually paying the bets. So we're recommending approval with the change.
Thank you, Mr. Shumay. Any questions?
Move approval, Jack Mariano. Second, Ron Oakley.
I have a motion by Commissioner Mariano, a second by Commissioner Oakley. Madam Clerk, please call the roll.
District One, Commissioner Oakley.
Aye.
District three, Commissioner Starkey. Aye. District four, Commissioner Weightman. Aye. District five, Commissioner Mariano. Aye. District two, Chairman More.
Hi, motion passes five zero. Thank you. That does it for the consent. We will now move on to our regular agenda. Um we also do have uh two addendums, AR one, um, which is uh Pasco County virus relief PPE reimbursement program and AR two supporting documentation for R two on the BCC agenda. We'll go forward with R one now, and I think um I'm gonna pass it either to the clerk or to Mr. Bayas.
Do you want me to go?
