R46Tentative Millage Rates for Truth in Millage (TRIM) Notices and First Public Hearing – Fiscal Year 2024 Budget – No Funding Required

Bob the general operating millage, the fire MSTU, as well as the general obligation cost millages. Also, we would ask that you set the first public hearing for September 5th at 5:15 in Dade City. And so when we talk about the millages that we're asking, these are the millage. You'll notice that we the rolledback rate, that is the rate that would generate next year the same amount of money that's generated this year. We are not recommending the rolledback rate. The proposed millage you can see there is in that central column, and then the difference from the rolledback rate. So the state requires us to calculate the rollback rate. as well as the difference from the proposed from the rolledback rate. You'll notice the general obligation bond millages don't have a rolled back rate because those are set simply to generate the amount of money that's needed to pay back the bondholders. And so with that I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have and I ask that you would set the millage. Yes.

FY25 budget millage rates paving MSTU direction

Mike Carballa to those roads and and makes visible meaningful progress, I think, for our for our citizens. So I guess if if the board I guess what I would like for the board to perhaps have some other discussion is to Give me an idea of where you want to land with that millage rate for the paving MSTU.

    Resolution adopting tentative millage rates

Several speakers The actions you have taken today has set the tentative aggregate millage at 9.8683 MILS, which reflects an increase of 1.37% above the rolled back rate. I will now read the resolution adopting the millage rates by title only. A resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the Pasco County, Florida adopting the tentative levying of Advilorum taxes for Pasco County for fiscal year twenty twenty six, providing for an effective date.

R78Tentative Millage Rates for Truth in Millage (TRIM) Notices and First Public Hearing – Fiscal Year 2027 Budget – No Funding Required – To Be Distributed

Several speakers So this would assume the maximum amount that we would need the fire MSTU millage rate to be to fully absorb rescue without any half cent sales tax subsidy from the general fund. And so based off our July final taxable assessed value, that millage rate would shake out to be two point three, two two two four, which is an increase of point one nine nine nine mills, which would require five votes at the final public hearing in September.

R75Presentation - Commission Input on Fiscal Year 2022 Business Plan Initiatives

Bob will receive that advertisement in August and September telling them what the millage rate, the maximum the millage rate will be. So when we set the millage rate in July, that millage rate can go down, but it can't go up during the final hearings. And it will also communicate to the residents when the final hearings are so that they can. come in and give us their feedback on the budget. And with that, that's all I have. Happy to answer any further questions you might have. Mr.

R40Presentation - Emergency Management - Coastal Tour - No Funding Required

Andy Foss So hospitals that would be impacted, like I said, we would lose Bayonet, which is a very key hospital in Pasco County. It's a level two trauma center. It's a 320-bed facility. Like I said, they would have water through their first floor. North Bay, 141-bed facility, it's an acute care facility, they would have water up to their first floor and up and higher. But those facilities we would lose. Um tax revenue. So if we had flooding on the west side of US 19. Just in storm surge alone, with flooding, we would lose approximately $37.9 million annually in revenue loss. For the county. And that's broken down the gr general fund, fire millage, go bond, storm parcels. taxable values, and then our loss of revenue through the general fund, fire, go bonds, and stormwater. If the water was actually to go across to

Andy Foss Little Road, which is project projected in areas the additional a hundred and nine million dollars a year and tax loss we and revenue loss we would have to the county. And as you see, it'd be taxable value, general fund, the fire millage, GO bonds, about 10 million, loss of revenue and the revenue funds about 78 million, fire 18 million, the GO bonds 2.8 million, and stormwater would be 8.96. So that would give you a total of about $139 million in loss to what that would affect the county in our budgets. Environmental impact, when you're talking about cleaning up the coast. When I was down there in Lee County There was so much debris d the county Couldn't even fathom how they were gonna get all this debris out of the water. Not only the boats, but the cars that were in there. There were buildings in there, a part of houses in there, there was garbage in there. When I left there th after three weeks. They hadn't even thought about starting that process yet. When
