Lisa Yeager So there's no there's you can't even dispute works in my family, my husband gets all the table. You can't dispute the ticket because they don't show the person. They only show the license plate. So I'm super glad my Jeep is in case.

    C8Agreement and Purchasing Authority-Pasco County Sheriff’s Office - Unlicensed Contractor Initiative -$1,063,051.52

Several speakers resources were were put towards those efforts. So we didn't, admittedly, did not have a lot of minimum standards efforts out looking specifically for unlicensed contracting. That's not to say it didn't happen. The Sheriff's Office was out looking for unlicensed contracting. Immediately following a storm, a couple things happened. Folks are starting to do muck and gut. You don't need a license for that. Anybody can come in. In fact, we saw that with our nonprofit groups. It takes a little bit of time following the storm for the Real kind of uh contracting and bad acting uh actors coming in. What a lot of folks didn't realize is the Office of Insurance Regulation also had state level inspectors driving around. We saw them out at at uh at Gulf Harbor certainly uh and some other places, and they were going around grabbing um numbers off of trucks, looking at license plates. Searching Facebook. So there was a lot of that happening behind the scenes. Unfortunately, we just didn't get great data collection of one of the things of the stuff that was happening during those months. It was kind of a little bit frantic. So part of our um our BPI coming forward for budget,

Anthony Wolford the most recent case, uh he ignored the evidence and found me guilty, even going so far as to charge me an additional hundred dollars for exercising my constitutional right of questioning my accuser free of charge. The issue with the cameras are going beyond personal experience. However, the facts are clear, the cameras are operating without valid permits. The expired uh the permits expired was denied er the permit extensions were denied September sixteenth. And despite replying yesterday and reapplying yesterday, Monday, October twenty Twenty five. The operators have Done nothing to update cameras and signage by F DOT standards. In fact, I have photograph evidence that demonstrates the camera's noncompliance. which was provided to me by James Meyer, the F DOT permit signer. This evidence shows the cameras are not operating with the required standard and yet they continue to issue citations to our citizens.

Anthony Wolford Uh good morning, County Commissioners. I would like to introduce myself as Good Citizen. I'm here today to discuss the unlawful operation of red light cameras in our community. As a concerned citizen, I've taken the Uh I've taken it upon myself to investigate the permitting and operations of these cameras. I'd like to start by saying I've personally fought through cameras in court and won not once, not twice, but three times. One was because uh The accuser didn't show. There was twenty five of us standing there that day, uh, unable to go through our fourth amendment due process and fourteenth amendment uh to question your accusers. So they were thrown out, all of them. Um In front of the other two judges I legally defended the case and they were thrown out. Um despite this, I turned in all that information recently to the Newport Ritchie Magistrate. Uh in

Jack Mariano by the hurricanes. So I got to talk to him a few different times. He told me about the red light cameras. And he told me some things that he's printed out here, and I just want to review them with you that bother me. Because I never liked these cameras. I fought them when I was on the MPOAC. Uh they delayed for seven. seven years but finally they made their way back. I think it was about five years ago we had a conversation with the city and they talked about well because we're in contract we can't end our contract And we gotta keep the red light cameras. We're gonna look at getting rid of them. Uh that never happened. Uh so now as i if and this is is confirmed by James Myers that as far as they are out of compliance.
