And I believe we're going to P fifty eight.

Amy Heiler

Okay.

Starkey

Um I just had a question. It's I think it's an easy one. What's planned on 41 and

Either one of you.

Planning and Development staff

Good afternoon, William Vermillion. Planning and development. I didn't have to elbow Barbara out of the way to get up here first. I want the record to reflect that.

MarianoChair

And the question was

Starkey

What's planned on forty one? is uh there isn't anything there now, I think. So I just want to make sure we're covering our bases.

Planning and Development staff

Yeah, so the the original P D and E done by F Dot was done in nineteen eighty nine. originally contemplated a rural cross section. But those plans were shelved, so it's anticipated that the county is working with F DOT to provide an urban urban typical section, which the county is trying to work with F DOT to get two shared use paths on either side of 41.

Starkey

Well I just need to make sure that we have reserved the right-of-way that we need to make

Planning and Development staff

that happen. Yes, ma'am. As a part of this project we did get one point six four acres of total right-of-way for the cross section which is showed on the plan in that uh light green hatched area as you move to the east of that solid yellow line where the access is, that's right-of-way dedication.

Starkey

Okay. Um I was really sad to hear that the plans for widening 41 north fifty-two got shelved. Did you guys hear that?

Planning and Development staff

Yes, uh the those planes did get shelved north of fifty-two after they did that P D and E in nineteen eighty nine. When uh the county reached out to F Dot, that was their response. But It ended up being a a good thing because they presently had c uh contemplated that rural cross section, which the F dot Rural Cross section has no pedestrian facilities. So it actually ended up helping the county and being able to negotiate those shared use paths as they update the design moving forward.

Starkey

So um but I'm guessing they don't have the money to do it now. The money went somewhere else.

Planning and Development staff

That would be a correct suspicion.

Starkey

We're gonna be we're gonna be in a pickle on forty one like Shady Hills one day.

I thought uh St. Simpson had gotten money for that, but

MarianoChair

So as I'm looking at the right-of-way. Uh I'm I'm I'm gonna talk now. Um yeah, one second. So as I look at the roadway and you've got the yellow area that you said you would get for r the right away? For those of you. So the

Unidentified speakerVoice A

yellow area is the buffer. That's the buffer? It's that hatched area. Hatched. That says seventy when you blow it up it says seventy-five foot right-of-dedication. That's what catches there. 110 from the center line.

MarianoChair

So we

get

the full area all the way up. Okay. Commissioner Oakley.

Oakley

Um so they're they did away with that plan for Laning to the north on forty one. Was there something that affected fifty two? 'Cause it seems like It's not starting as soon as I thought it was going to start.

Starkey

Yeah, they couldn't they ran out of money, so they divided into three phases.

Oakley

So where did the money go?

Starkey

Three oh one probably.

Oakley

Different idea.

MarianoChair

Good compensation for Thursday at the MPI meeting.

Oakley

Okay.

MarianoChair

Thank you.

Starkey

Yeah, okay. So uh move oh did you take public

Unidentified speakerVoice A

comment? Yeah you need to take public comment if that's

MarianoChair

uh is any there anyone else to the public like to speak to this item or online?

WeightmanVice Chair

None online.

MarianoChair

No one in the audience? All right, we'll close public comment back to the board.

WeightmanVice Chair

Chair. I just I just think it's great to see we've started to see some larger lot product come into the market. and um it's nice to see see that market shift. We hear it from customers all the time looking for a little bit more space. So thank you all. And this project's been a little uh bumpy for the last few years, but appreciate everybody who worked on it to retool it. And um Uh I think it's a much better outcome for the owner in. And for the area.

Starkey

Is the illegal racetrack gone?

WeightmanVice Chair

Yes, ma'am.

Starkey

Yeah. All right, very good.

MarianoChair

Approval.

Starkey

Second.

MarianoChair

All in favor say aye. Aye. Any opposed?

Starkey

Seth Weightman.
