Recess and informal commissioner discussion
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

What was said
Machine transcription of 15m of recording, with speaker names inferred from voice matching. 42% of 149 lines carry a name. It shows what was said, not what was decided, and both the words and the names can be wrong.
Yeah. We're gonna take a little recess. Yeah. a couple hours.
Then we'd be having meetings after five.
Yeah, that's one of the few situations I feel like the stubbut should stay there.
Well I'm not sure Eric Sonny thinks that though I know.
That may be his only way out. Yeah. It's
true.
That's the least of his problems right now.
You're talking about the guy that owns that little that ten acre parcel there to the
looks like Walt Castle owns the rest of the land around it. Does he? Yeah.
All that property of the north?
Oh that's Wayne Coulter. Okay. So Yeah, so the cultures used to own all that, including what was crescent for it.
I bought my first house from King Wayne.
Actually
it
was
a dupe crack.
So this guy Eric in a
neighborhood with duplexes in it.
So Eric and Colleen Sojin and Sony and so they probably bought this property from Wayne as well. I would assume. I assume they bought that from Wayne.
Yeah.
So is this still alive, is he? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, so here's his connection through their neighborhood to the south.
Yeah.
Yeah, so he's connected down here and coming up. That's his driveway right here. So really an intercake over here wouldn't it's only if this gets sold and hide out.
Yeah.
Go Google it. Go Google it. You'll see.
The name does sound
familiar. Well he's the guy that used to own Bill Dog. Oh yeah. That's that's why it sounds familiar. His brother His brother's wife was found dead.
Yeah no, then we've got
to be
too many tests.
Well they abandoned I mean the property looks abandoned now, but yeah, did that property get sold though? Yeah, I was gonna say I don't know if it's sold and
falling apart.
Yeah,
I'll see you I'll see you guys
later on. Yeah, that's sounds like
So it's his brother's wife.
Try not to pay attention.
Uh well I'm not sure if that would be proper sunshine with sunshine.
Yeah,
yeah, yeah.
I'll just say you need to go look at here. I'll make it simple. You have a finding of fact that says the county has no record of any complaints. I'll say that the Sheriff's Department has a litany of them. I spoke to Chase Daniels and
That's who I spoke to. And I'm reasonably certain where's my little notes here?
Yeah,
I got it.
Now this is not for the facility in question. For the phys well there's a couple things going on here. So the one in Wesley Chapel? As of August 5th of this year, there have been 31 calls for service.
And they are not to have sexual offenders in that facility per their conditional use. According to Chase, they do have sexual offenders in their facility. They've had six Baker acts, five missing persons and So someone needs to go talk to Chase.
Who is
And then there's also a condition that says they're supposed to have a c local community member as a member of the board.
She will be here next time. She's eighty three years old, blind, and has never been invited to a board
meeting
on the table and you told me.
Lutz services at the point right now is the the only thing that seems to be elevated is the number of calls to the Sheriff's Department.
I'm just listening in no. Yeah.
And
yes, I understand that under the state statute they can do six and they need a conditional use for the ten. But I'll just say that there's no record of complaints is not a true.
Maybe no code complaints. Yeah.
And I'm not talking about Bear Creek, I'm talking about Lawrence Drive.
Yeah. new one.
Yeah.
So I'll let you know that my oldest son is addicted to these thanks now. Thanks thanks to you. Oh did you bring him one? Well
I'll just say that there's gonna be a group of people in here who are gonna say that they've been in the vote enforcement who would like to initiate revoking the conditional use for the one on Laura instruction.
It is weird. I think it's wrong.
That should be enough.
Yeah, so I haven't heard the latest update on on the yet from the field, but I should get should get that later today.
Oh, I don't know. I get the jokes called in I got her.
I mean that's they were
supposed to be here. He was younger.
I saw some sort of statistic or something. Like you know, forty five percent of females your age wanna move out of the country right now. You would do that?
Okay.
So I'm just
back in the same.
That's fine.
So so you're you're a part of that.
I got you. Yeah, now you're kind of stuck.
And I'll just say I don't know what they're on code enforcement, but I've been told by people who have called me that they've called code enforcement who's refused to go out and deal with the property because of them threatening.
Well you can take it
with you if you move so I mean it's uh
Just oh okay. Off the record for myself. I understand it's a it's a delicate matter, there's a state law that says that they can have six or whatever in their house.
And it's probably a necessary service that the question my mind. is whether the operator is competent to run the facility. I take on it is if you got thirty one calls for service that you may you might not be running the place right.
So where were you until
maybe another operator could run it properly. I don't know.
Where do they live in Talisman? So
my raised in Monaso.
Okay.
And
his Okay. I got you. Well, yeah, it's beautiful. Yeah. I think I will have some of the nuts.
Yeah, that one's
good. Yeah, it's so pretty up there. Oh
good.
It's so
nice.
Well, from what I understand I wasn't on the PC when the Lawrence Drive came in. It happened just before I got on PC. But I mean I understood that we're going to be able to New Orleans threatening we're gonna see the
OSA nineteen route and went out through Parry. That's a good thing.
When you get about ten miles when you get about ten miles north of Perry, it gets really pretty or not.
They
would be in violation conditions. They've got the sheriff says he's got sex offenders in Paris.
Mm-hmm.
Well and that goes back to is there's no really
monitoring this in the perpetuity. Once you have an ex I mean exide from somebody calling code enforcement investigate.
My mother in law's criminal laws and stuff. That's the sheriff's
own.
So it's a matter of right into you've got to have a relationship with the sheriff where he's feeding you the information that if you need to shut the facility down or revoke a conditional use, then you've got the information from the sheriff. That's why I frankly I asked you
they be here.
We haven't been in the wall, but yeah.
Because I've been getting calls about like said says I don't even know anything about Bear Creek, but I've been getting calls about Lawrence Drivers.
Can you make it all without
stopping
with the
right-of-way? I don't know.
It's only four hours for goodness. I don't know what it dropped.
Did you grow up down here?
He probably also knows that we're looking at another broker right now.
Sorry, we're back up.
That's your life.
Yeah.
She's up taking a note. He's always good. I'm like, Will you stop sending me a little bit more? Yeah,
family, you know. I'm gonna go to Orlando, I'm as fun there. Like,
I'm fine, I'm like, No,
you're not gonna be right.
Send me really. Uh
nobody knows until that.
I hate it. I hate going there. Reports from my neighbors. No no easy way to get weekends. Two separate
hours. No, there's still more because they steal the air okay.
Yeah, it's uh recently it's been like an explosion of coyote sightings and coyote. Oh you don't I've seen a couple of them dead on the road. That's my favorite kind of thing. Oh yeah? Yeah. But yeah, it seems like just out of nowhere we hadn't seen him suddenly there everywhere. Uh reports in Will Maker's place.
Yeah, I don't think there's a I one day I was in Woods, I was going to Jack Mariano's there was one walking right down Jack's the middle of Jack Street. Mid broad
day last night. I was dri you know, I'm in the reserve driving out one night. And one standing right in somebody's front yard right on the edge of the street. Yeah, that's bad. He didn't move. We drove by him slow. Three big numbers.
There is. Pretty big number. Healthy looking too. Fluffy coat. Yeah, I'll take it.
No, I'm
not sure.
That and eat my dog, eh?
I went back and just we dogged back on Saturday.
They couldn't figure out why he has numbness in his legs. Right? He's having a hard time walking. His left leg is numb. And then we finally got it. Got the x-ray in the way, except it's too vertical, you know. Oh my god, it's pushing on his spine. Oh yeah, she's gonna be a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit.
He gave me some muscle relaxation. And I think those are actually having a huge effect. She told me that those muscles until they relax, they don't let those vertebrae settle
back to their back.
So it's a lot of spasm that's causing it.
So yeah, but that's the other thing you could
professionally. Never
phyllochrom ever. But when I came home yesterday he was
wagging his tail. Oh that's good.
So nothing was broken in those vertebrae or no fracture.
Bite marks right on his throat, bite
marks
on his
shoulder. That's like your foot there. Coupled on his paw.
Have a dog is it? Yeah.
Black mouth curve.
You ready? How big is he? Sixty.
Agree button Following me back to order.
Yeah.
