General public comment thank you for Saint Joe Road
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.
The source document
The county’s agenda for Planning Commission, May 7, 2026
The published PDF, as served by the county. This item is one entry in it.
What was said
Machine transcription of 2m of recording, with speaker names inferred from voice matching. 92% of 12 lines carry a name. It shows what was said, not what was decided, and both the words and the names can be wrong.
This is the uh opportunity and now for public comment for th anything that is not on today's agenda. So if there's anybody here that wishes to speak on something that's not on the agenda, this would be the the time. Uh I'll call you up if there is. Uh before we do go any further though, if you have a telephone or anything that makes a noise, please put it in a silent position. So um let's
for anybody who plans to give testimony or speak today, uh please stand and raise your right hand and be sworn.
Do you swear or from the text? I hope you got it.
All right, thank you. So um if there's someone who plans to speak today on something not on the agenda, come forward, state your name and address. Yeah, what your concern is.
Nancy Hayeswood, [address removed]. Do I have to have a concern?
Yes, you do. Well I go. Good. Good.
Actually I came up here to thank y'all. Y'all gave me such a gift at your last meeting with the Saint Joe Road Project. I wanna thank Mr. Gray. Jamie, Christopher, especially John Moody. Uh Derek and Chris Williams and Matthew. And a thank you to the Planning Commission also and Nick back there. And I I can't tell
you I was so relieved that road would have gone through a small community. I know I have one friend on that road that would have taken half her land. So I appreciate that and I appreciate the help keeping Northeast Rural rural from y'all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you guys.
Thank you for coming in and telling us that. We don't hear that a very often so it's
nice.
Okay. I think we're by the way, welcome back.
Thank you. Uh we have nobody else signed up for general public comment, Mr. Chairman. We also have nobody online today.
