County Attorney. Mr. Chairman Members of the Board, um last week There was a case decided on the east coast of Florida, Testa versus the town of Jupiter Island. I was prepared to ask you today to allow me to file for Amica status in that case. Um Yeah. involves municipal law. Chapter one sixty six,
but I'm afraid it will carry over into into one twenty five and the way you're required to advertise continuances. Um but in the interim, the Florida Association of County Attorney has decided that they will go in for a uh For the amicas. um to try and argue that the court was wrong. Um I happen to
be the president of that association right now. So I think our interest will be represented by that filing. And don't have to file something separately on behalf of Pasco County. Uh just a heads up, there is both a judicial component of taking this up to the Supreme Court and there's a legislative component where the League of Cities and the Florida Association of Counties is
trying to get the law clarified. Um but in the interim there are going to be some of your continuances that Mr Karbala is going to have to advertise. Um
