Resolution 21-279 National Assisted Living Week
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

It is such a critical time of life for our people. Um we've heard horror stories what ha what's happened up in other places of the country that uh we just didn't get those same stories here. Uh the work you do for people at this such critical time of life is is just greatly appreciated. appreciate it. It takes a special person to go do it and I appreciate you and all your team members and all your colleagues that uh do it.
Thank you.
Would you like to say a few words?
Um just on behalf of the staff and the residents um at our community Uh we thank you. It's uh some of you have actually been to our community. We had somebody who turned a hundred um a couple years ago who was a veteran and I invited everybody, even the president of the United States, but you all came. Um so thank you for that. But uh
assisted living is very crucial. Um and I don't think that it gets enough um recognition nationwide. Um but thank you. Thank you for that.
My pleasure.
The residents are very important people. They should be very important people to everybody, not just us.
I think we all appreciate especially when we go see a centurion and and present those awards and and see the th enthusiasm they have for life itself still at that point. So it's great. Would you all like to join us?
Who's Kathy Pearson? It might not be Kathy.
