Case Access and domestic violence services
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
This archive found it in the recording: a call to order, a recess, or business the board never listed. The county recorded nothing about it, so everything below is our reading.
The source document
The county’s agenda for Board of County Commissioners, Oct 20, 2026
The published PDF, as served by the county. This item is one entry in it.

I do. I have an update. So there is a new statewide service that's been provided by the Florida Clerks of Court. It's called Case Access, and through subscription service. individuals who want to search for cases can now do that statewide rather than going to each county clerk's office, um virtually of course, to look up case information. And it is hosted on the Florida Courts e filing portal. So that was just newly
released out there. I think it was last Monday. So it's been out for about a week and a half. Um, the other thing I wanted to just mention is October is Domestic Violence Prevention Month. And I wanted to remind the public that They don't have to go it alone if they are in a situation where they are experiencing domestic violence or stalking. Um, you can come to my office. We have an empowerment room that the county
helped us build in the both of the judicial centers. One is in Dade City, the other one is in New Port Richey. It is a secured room. So you can come into that room, know that you're secured. My team is there to help you. In addition, we've partnered with Sunrise of Pasco as well as Salvation Army. So whatever services you need, in addition to uh legal advocacy, to um you know, getting shelter to services that you might need for your children,
um, you can get it all there in one spot. You do not have to go it alone. Again, this is domestic violence prevention month, and I just wanted to remind everyone that those services. are available to them for free. Thank you.
Thank you.
