- R Sub eight drive-thru facilities and parking lots
Chris Demansh Point Village Shopping Center on 54. And of course we have Point Village Drive and of course the buildings themselves are brought closer to the this internal drive and you'll see that there is parking between the buildings and State Road 54.

Kathryn Starkey have to do that. Maybe some don't, but many do, and there are other neighborhoods around the area that also would like to not have to drive. State Road 54 to get to the airport. Um if you remember when the oil truck spilt and State Road 54 was closed down for most of the day. So this is this is a an extremely important road that's been planned for decades. Um and I think you've done a great job in designing it. And you know, we'll let it be in a future board. Maybe some of you will be here when when when and if we do uh connect to the Sun Coast. Um But for now, uh you know we just we have to move forward. I'm
- Rangeland route study and interchange
Several speakers Kathryn Starkey: left on Done highway onto State Road fifty four? Is that what you're saying? Heading east on fifty four?
- R472025 State Legislative Discussion
Sun Coast Absolutely. We are we are close to needing construction funds for the shortfall at those two overpasses at both fifty-four and at fifty-two. So we have an just as a reminder to the governing board, to the commissioners, we we have an agreement with FDOT where we have paid up front for the estimated cost of design and construction for pedestrian overpasses for the Sun Coast Trail as they cross State Road 54 and as they cross State Road 52. We've given them approximately $10 million for each of those two locations because that was the entire Anticipated cost to design and construct those bridges.
- R472025 State Legislative Discussion
Kathryn Starkey See, this is part of my question to you and to Ralph about and I had lunch with Hooper about we're trying to, you know, I'm trying to figure out if I should be asking for rangeland, which will relieve twenty to thirty percent of the traffic on 54. As you know what 54 shut down last year with the oil spill. It was a disaster Since there's no other road but one road on State Road fifty four. If something happens and it gets blocked. So um Can we ask for design money? And will that would that mess up the federal grant application? Um, I know we tried to cut it in pieces and they said no, you gotta do it all as one to to apply for a federal grant. Um so where are we w what do I need to do? As far as
- R-31 Rangeland route study preferred alternative
Panos Conces from going east on uh State fifty four to turn left on Gunn Highway is takes too long. They can drive down and make the left on Lake Point or even farther down on South Branch Boulevard. So there are there will be alternatives for those drivers to make choices.
- Rangeland route study and interchange
Several speakers Kathryn Starkey: Alright, so Gun Highway is Gun and 54 is worse without rangeland. And um The sixth lane. It's not in the community. From the Sun Coast to the roundabout.
- R-31 Rangeland route study preferred alternative
Panos Conces Of course the volumes will will be higher on Rangeland Boulevard and then the conditions on Ka on Gunn Highway and Strait R fifty four will become, yes, mu much more congested. then we will assess the conditions then because remember, Traffic shifts when you build a new road. You may project something today, but The actual data will show us where the traffic is gravitating based on the new road. Then we will assess the conditions on Gun Highway where State Route 54, and then in conjunction with the F DOT, because State Route 54 is a state road ro uh state road, we will determine the best solution for that intersection. And that again, if and when the that in in the interchange is built. You know, that's not right now in the picture. Also The experience shows that when drivers experience congestion at an intersection and there are alternative routes. They will gravitate to less congested route. For example, if they find that making a left turn

Sun Coast any congestion that's experienced by Botarist today at the Little Road intersection. uh fiber optic cable and traffic cameras at all the signalized intersections on Trinity Boulevard from Little Road to State Road 54. And that allows for the operational efficiencies needed to make those signals function at their highest level.
- Pasco Economic Development Council quarterly update
Mike Moore Um How important it is, and David you can jump in as well, is when you look at our major corridors like 54, 52, State Road 56, to have those sites along that corridor because of the access to 75, the Sun Coast. 275. Yeah.
- Rangeland route study and interchange
Several speakers Mike Carballa: There's a dedicated turn lane coming eastbound on fifty four and there's also southbound going a dedicated turn lane.
- Rangeland route study and interchange
Kathryn Starkey this next road is that comes between Lake Point and Cattle Gap. Um so there's a lot of ways to get to fifty four besides Gun and Fifty Four. That's kind of what I was thinking.
