Jaimie Girardi Well My general understanding, all that's uh we have stormwater staff they can give you a more detailed understanding is that this complain policy is implemented through our land development regulation. That was gonna be my comment. And so you the details of how we limit development within the hundred year floodplain are contained within our land development regulations in particular is it section twelve hundred Patrick you would know what is it where's our stormwater regulation?

Jon Moody But We don't. look at properties. And go, well, hey, forty percent of this property's wetland. We'll just fill the whole thing, dredge it all out, turn it into a stormwater pond. And I will tell you, and I'm not accusing all developers of doing that, the vast majority of them do come in here and protect and build around these wetlands and we show these wetland buffers. There's no wetland buffers here. We're just gonna dredge the wetland out and turn it into a stormwater pond. I'm just not sure. So my question is is do we have any policies that would encourage that, discourage that, require that?

Denise Um the only there were uh comments in the pre-application meeting notes and they were told the type of buffers that they have to provide. Um they were also told that if they keep the uh from our stormwater folks, and of course this is going to be handled at the at the site plan, um, but by our from our stormwater folks they were told that they have to uh uh retrain uh retain and treat water due to the fact that they put in impervious gravel on the property. Um if they return the lot to a grass parking, they don't have to do that. So there's some things that they have to think about.

Unidentified speaker I apologize. I would simply want you to know that I'm not here necessarily speaking out, but I think there are certain things that have not been adequately addressed at this point that's to be determined for the runoff. And the stormwater and the drainage, that just isn't satisfactory. Well that

Jon Moody We want to make this lots blocks and rows and blitz wetlands. All at the same time while the public is not exactly Thrilled about Stormwater drainage over the last couple of months here. And I understand this has gone on a long time. But At some point we have the We have the responsibility to recognize to develop in accordance with the lay of the land. And and that drives me nuts. I get clients that come to my office too that don't seem to understand water flows downhill. Here I wanna put I want uh they come in here with a layout and I wanna put a building down here on the low side of the site because it's convenient and I wanna put my stormwater pond at the top of the hill. I get that all the time. And
