- Pasco Conserves conservation element 2050 update
Jaimie Girardi I'm we we do we our stormwater regulations, which by the way are way, way, way out of date. Um And in December are gonna be really out of date. Mm-hmm. We do we do that through the stormwater section and through 1104 flood damage prevention.
- ADU draft ordinance discussion
Jon Moody putting a bunch of A D Us in there, I could very quickly overwhelm sewage pump undersized sewage pumping stations that were never designed to accommodate That. Adding additional stormwater runoff. in an area where we have open drainage systems in the big scheme of things probably doesn't do much, but in the smaller scale does. For instance, when you see that grate in the parking lot or that opening in the curb that lets the stormwater flow in, There's only so much capacity that that opening has. I start adding a bunch more, and that's what a lot of people saw during Milton. There's a lot of people that weren't in flood zones that flooded, basically because your storm sewers, the storm sewer inlets, do not have the capacity to take in that much water that fast. So that backs up. So I think there is some concern over the Just stormwater, but So I'm with David maybe in just identifying the more problem neighborhoods, get with utilities, get with public works and stormwater to identify the problem areas and make them special exceptions there. I don't wanna make a I don't wanna make Mrs. Jones go
- Pasco Conserves conservation element 2050 update
Several speakers Keith: Not a stormwater expert, so I can't speak to that.
- PC7 special exception for private school or gymnastic training
Several speakers Unidentified A: But Jon Moody: to the general point it doesn't show any stormwater retention either. Charles Grey: Yeah, Jon Moody: so w those are concerns Charles Grey: we have. Yeah. Both of those things.
- PC7 special exception for private school or gymnastic training
Several speakers Jaimie Girardi: Okay. Well maybe Mr. Mooney's correct. I guess they could put Put it in underground stormwater and parking decks.
- PC9 Pasco County Design Standards Manual presentation
Several speakers Jaimie Girardi: But this manual also covers stormwater. Yes Engineer: it was
- ADU draft ordinance discussion
Jon Moody I understand but it's just Yeah, but I don't think you're understanding the point that every time every time I add another impervious surface I'm adding more runoff. Adding more stormwater that has to go somewhere. That's right and if I'm in a bowl. It doesn't go anywhere.
- PDD 230451 Lil and Ross Commercial Phase site plan
Unidentified speaker the simultaneous submittal of a preliminary site plan, construction plan, and stormwater management plan and report. We don't necessarily need you to approve the construction plan and stormwater management plan and report. The whole goal is for you to review the preliminary site plan itself. We don't expect you to have to. dig into any of the detailed construction documents or anything like that. So I'll leave the landscape plan up just for any discussion purposes. Again, I'm here if you have any questions, and of course the applicant.
- Pasco Conserves conservation element 2050 update
Pasco County Can I ask one stormwater question? So one point this is where Mr. Moody can help me. Wasn't there an issue at one point about that sentence potentially being inconsistent with the land development code requirement? That the land development code allows like modeling that deviates potenti potentially deviates from that requirement. I don't know if this is the policy or if there was a different one, but there was I remember at one point there was a Discussion with Stormwater about the a potential inconsistency between the complaint requirement and land development.
- PC9 Pasco County Design Standards Manual presentation
Jaimie Girardi last night. Tunnellas County had to hold a public workshop on its stormwater design manual. And the reason they had to do that is because their staff, along with some people, former Professors from the University of Central Florida decided they were going to change the course of stormwater in Penellas County forever. And it went on since 2018. And what it's resulted in is developers walking away from Pinellas County because it's become impossible to comply with the manual. And the manual is changed, is written and changed and made administratively.
- PC9 Pasco County Design Standards Manual presentation
Jaimie Girardi and that was a big discussion when we when we had the teams meeting. I noted that in the design manual there were lots of revision. to updated F D O T standards and the change in the structural number and all of these things which affect roads. And then I got down to the stormwater section. And there was nothing. In fact, the stormwater section says we're gonna comply with Chapter forty D four and Chapter 40 D forty that was in effect on December whatever, twenty eleven. David, those were repealed. They don't even exist anymore today.
- ADU draft ordinance discussion
Unidentified speaker density in the area is because density has impacts which are associated with it. Stormwater being one of them. And I I'm fine with how we voted before, but I think David brings up a good point. I think There needs to be
