So we're excited about it. Uh appreciate everybody working with the team, as you Joel and uh Pat there. So uh everybody working together to make this happen is a it's gonna be a phenomenal project and helping another development right beside it that's gonna elevate everything as well. Jack Mariano Well we're delighted to have you. Um you know Tom is uh workhorse like crazy, he's done a great job for us for many, many years. David is a brilliant mind that just digs these projects up and together they are uh they're a dynamo. Um we're delighted to have you coming down from New York. Um Plastics sounds very exciting. What what type of plastics are you are do you make?
Jack Mariano Excellent. Well, we're excited about your growth. Congratulations on the all the great accomplishments you and your team are are are doing. Um, do we have any c other questions or comments from the board at this time? I just won't get a new album. Whoa, how many how many new FTs are you adding, sir?
Jack Mariano that there's people out there and told the developer that people need fee simple office space that they can go invest in and bring the company in. They don't want to just come in and rent from somebody and do something. So I'm gonna tell you what he had to go through to get to this building shouldn't have happened in a sense. We've got to make sure we get a little bit of a good thing. keep on wush helping gentlemen like this to have opportunities to be able to land their business where they want to land it and not just convert things to apartments because we're getting pressure or other things that you know would go on. We need to make sure with these office things come in because this target industry, as Commissioner Weightman was just mentioning, it sets up a base for economics where you get the core, you get the high income people coming in, and that leads to other great All around between demographics of homes they can buy and want to buy, between businesses who want to locate here and help this kind of grow in a strong way. And that's been uh something I've been proud of to that we've great work we've done, but there's more we can do because right now, with what you just went through, shouldn't have happened. We should have had some more space available. So I think we keep that focused
Jack Mariano that the opportunities are there. Don't listen to developers looking trying to make the quick buck. We get to help guys like this. Guy and the great companies get going on. So I'm I'm very excited that this is coming forward. Uh I think it's gonna be great that you're gonna bring people in and you're gonna you're gonna actually double the size of your business in a sense because you get the people gonna still work remote, but now you get people coming in too. And again, I think it's it's kind of like helping you, almost like they cut the head of the snake too, come back. Well, that's what that's what's going on here. So I think what you're gonna do is gonna be phenomenal. I I have no doubt you're going to meet the expectations here, and you'll probably look for another building. So good luck and thank you for being in Pasco County. You're a great man.
Jack Mariano Anyway, so transportation is something that we can go as far. As far as for economic development I think like the Amp skills we should be asking for the new building, for the the help of the industrial park up in Hudson, et cetera. The
Jack Mariano f all the commissions pounding away at F D O T to get this thing funded through the Turnpike Authority and I'm gonna say the next day we had it done. So with what you're gonna bring to the table, I want you to know you get a partnership here that we're gonna help you thrive as well. So thank you for picking Pasco. Thank you.
Jack Mariano Point this project. Um three million square feet of uh industrial is huge. The office use for half a million, retail of 190, and the hotel I think is gonna fit all perfectly. Uh and I'm gonna have to balance with the residential, but I really love the estate residential that's gonna be up for the higher executives to come in as well. So this project will be, I think, a great addition to it. us and until they build all the good stuff they're not gonna get any money anyway and it's all the net offsets so huge that over time it's it's it helps them get the project through brings jobs quicker it's a it's a good thing for us.
Jack Mariano So I would love to have you maybe speak with Justin Russler, um Our team out there with the right recycles, we can work to give you all our recycles. Um get something going there. Maybe even regionally if you need even more than that to really cut your supply cost down and and help us both out every step of the way. Absolutely. And if our people know uh that these recycled materials it'll be the m more likely to to buy 'em as well as you're gonna export 'em. I was just at a place where they actually had recycled materials from the area And they would like put that in the in the finest hotels coming forward to say, Here's what we're doing locally. So however we can partner, I I'd love to meet with you. This is a fantastic project, fantastic location. Um I'm excited about what you're coming forward. Absolutely.
