Ron Oakley this kind of project and and thank David and all the staff that worked on it too, along with you and coming to this conclusion, it seems to me it's happening very fastly to come to this point. So I think it's a win-win for for the county and and for our developer. We appreciate you being here and building this kind of product for us.
Ron Oakley So okay, and then one more thing. This is in District One. I grew up here in Dade City and went off to school in Tennessee and came back and went to work in a citrus business, but a lot of my classmates and friends that were here and grew up here couldn't go off school and come back over jobs and this presents us with a a lot of jobs and places to live and a very good environment for our residents in Pasco County. I appreciate it.
Ron Oakley to make things better and also to bring up young young future adults and citizens that will care about the county and the citizens in this county and and those two girls will really go a long ways because they're they certainly appreciate all that they've been able to do. So we're very thankful for all that you do.

Ron Oakley Commissioner Starkey, I just wanted to clear one of the items that's on regular agenda is is yours. It's R 74. It was for time certain 11, but I just want to make sure that the record's clear that you you're saying that this one is being withdrawn.
Ron Oakley So R seventy six and R seventy seven have been pulled and and going to be on the uh are withdrawn from from the regular agenda today. They will be at the twenty six January twenty sixth and question seven.
Ron Oakley Uh Wiregrass has been showing us great things all along, ever since you first started, so I believe this project the way it's worked out to be It's gonna be it will be a legacy because it's gonna be a a great project right in the center of Wiregrass and and there'll be a lot more coming because of this project. Ron Oakley Typically the incentive is the by right aspect of it, that if you build uh as the community wants it, it's able to get in a lot quicker. Um and so there's a there's a time component associated with that. But the o the bigger incentive of course is the economic one. Bringing the building uh closer to the street. has a huge uh makes a huge impact and a huge emphasis to the corridor itself. If you notice in this picture all the way in the back there is your typical shopping center. um which you can't tell because you see that there's even a McDonald's and Culver's, which are corporate type businesses, um, they are they have taken the frontage and they're making money on the frontage. And that's that's really the incentive that a lot of these um businesses and companies will get. when they when they follow through it with this type of design.
