    Starkey I don't remember which day it was, but it was last week. Um Then uh I want to thank the legislators. Um I thought we had a great meeting. And I think I think they enjoyed it and um we we had uh uh great discussions on things uh on how we can make our county better. So Um, so all those who could make it and their staff, and uh and we had a lot of staff there. I just want to thank everyone for a great morning. Um and yes I I toured the Moffitt. Center that was amazing. My only my only I got a little concern, you know, that they're Just everyone realize it's a not for profit. And If They don't sell any of the land that any of those companies come from around the world to build their offices. We don't get the property tax. We do get tangible tax. But if the legislature takes the tangible tax away How how You know.

    Several speakers 2.0, because without this framework, it wouldn't have been possible. There would have been no Moffitt. We had to go buy an entire 6,000 acres to get Moffitt and their campus for 775 acres with 16 million square feet. Yeah. And we did a couple other things that we couldn't execute on ourselves in this area. which was the farm. We always wanted to do one. We ran out of land, So we built one, it's open at Angelaine, and we're working on a 150 acre regional park with the county staff. I'm going to keep moving in the interest of time. That is Connected City. I'm gonna pause but leave you with all the people that couldn't come here, on whose behalf I am speaking, I wanted to make sure you heard from them directly. So I'm going to end with this video uh Assuming we're gonna have audio for this. We aren't.

    Oakley water stuff? The event this morning was very nice to be at and uh we had a beautiful day here in Pasco County and Um We're very proud of Moffett bringing all the technology to Pasco County that they are. and hopefully it not only be assistance to all the health of our citizens in Pasco County. But all over All over the state of Florida and and further out. So I think it'll have it's it's the only machine, I believe, of its type. uh proton machine of its type in the southeast. So they will have far reaching uh care going out from that machine bringing people in. Sorry. But yes, enjoyed that very much.

    Yeager I don't know because I don't itch. Uh this is the Gold Star Family uh breakfast. This was absolutely beautiful. I have the information in my car, but if you'd like to buy a brick for it, it's a hundred dollars and it gets a great cause. It was absolutely beautiful. Next slide. Okay, this was the area of aging luncheon and um Brian um was actually at another table and I I hijacked him and said come sit by us So this was amazing and they raised a lot of money for a great cause. Okay. Oh, this was our so we had a this is our second health fair with um the Department of Health and Moffitt brought the the lung screening bus and feeding Tampa Bay came. We fed 112 families. There were 20 something mammograms, people with immunizations and all all sorts of things. So this was amazing and um I can't wait to do another one. So there's that. Oh this was the home dedication. They had seven homes they were death

    Yeager lot lower than that for an event. We had the dental bus, but sadly they had to leave early because their generator went out. Um we had uh HIV and hepatitis C testing. We had mosquito control wick And we had Grace's food pantry out there giving out food. So it was very much a success, and we are gonna do another one in the fall. Moffat was there as well, and I want to say they had six people sign up. You have to sign up prior for loan screen. meetings and they said they could be at an event all day and they may have one or two. So they were really, really happy um with the re with our numbers there. So um and I wanna say they had like ten shots given. for um hepatitis. So yeah, it was a great successful event.
