Joe Yes, I am not the wastewater engineer, but I know enough to be dangerous. Um and I do know a lot after working on this project for so long. I've learned a lot from the wastewater engineer, and what I can say is that there is a misconception that the wastewater treatment acts like a septic system, right? Like it goes into a storage tank and then gets distributed out into drain fields and wastewater just leaches into the ground. That is not what happens here. There is an advanced wastewater, I'm not going to use that word because that's probably an Official term. There is a wastewater treatment system here that far exceeds and advances beyond what's over at Traveler's Rest because it's going to be much newer, much more state-of-the-art, and Traveler's Rest is about the same size as this. So we're going to end up with a new state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facility that treats all this wastewater. It will be permitted to do so, and then And that treated disinfected water is actually distributed to

Several speakers Kathryn Starkey: didn't you have the new port which he Where's the new Port Richey? Uh, wastewater treatment facility on here.

Several speakers Jack Mariano: Okay. Is there so when you take that you take this wastewater treated and you just pump it into the soil, correct?

Several speakers Kathryn Starkey: Okay, well let 'em let 'em go on and then 'cause I I I want to say something about the New Port Richey wastewater treatment facility. Oh, where's the Wait Newport Witching one?

Several speakers Unidentified A: Somebody comes in with a speculative RDR, this policy would say as written that it couldn't have public wastewater, or that I should limit public wastewater to it.

Mariano cons consider we now get revenue from this reclaim water. I'm looking at these numbers and they're absolutely phenomenal. Not even advanced wastewater on that bottom one. I mean if there's if there's something more efficient to be done with smaller plants along the way, maybe we should be taking a look at that as as This advanced wastewater treatment plant, would that number compared to if you found a better way to go use it for reclaim water, maybe that's a better way to actually Instead of having to do the advanced wastewater if we can put it into reclaim water, uh, would we be better off?
- Portable generators for wastewater lift stations
Mariano Madam Clerk. And you know, this is such a environmentally sensitive thing as well. Yes. When that wastewater topples over I can't tell you the calls I've got from everybody across by over and over again. Yeah. Uh at their best they can't keep up with what's here. Representative Burkfield's house had the same problem

Several speakers And even though I don't know why we've come up with this new term, distributed wastewater treatment units. We've always known as aerobic treatment units. Do it now. They'll get eighty percent removal. That's still not advanced wastewater treatment plant standards, so we're getting a much better. Mr.

Several speakers Jan Johnson: Is that because of population growth?

Dade City Lot of love. Lot of love. Um the next one uh that we'd like to discuss uh is our emergency portable generators for wastewater, storm recovery and resilience. Again, coming off of the storms, what occurred in our county?
