Oakley So I think that'd good be report back and see where the Orange Belt Trail plays into this so we make sure that hardy connection all trail connection gets gets done the right way. So but
Starkey pieces? My concern is, as always, is the orange belt trail. So I wanna know how that fits in here. Um As 'cause you can see there's a wetland right there, or a stormwater pond. So I just want to make sure we've taken it into account All we need. Because that road does something weird right there. You see where the E is on Gladstone Drive? How how is that possible? We're gonna skip over that corner? So I don't I don't really understand what's going on right there as far as Design.

Panos Conces The route study for the Orange Belt uh Orange Belt uh trail is not yet finalized. So we don't have a final alignment for that trail. Um from what I know is it seems like the state road fifty two or now county road fifty-two alignment is the most preno predominant alternative, but we're not ready yet to recommend any alignment there. right now being finalized. It will be brought to you for a presentation, I believe sometime in January or uh uh next year. So uh in the meantime like Commissioner Oakley mentioned there is an existing need for pedestrians and students along Fort King Road. So this This sidewalk will take, provide the sidewalk from south of Advent Health all the way to Coleman Road is about short of a mile of uh sidewalk and it will provide access to Pasco High and also to the fairgrounds.
Starkey Okay. Um I I couldn't let you leave without talking about trails. And um we already had our discussion on uh the orange belt. But um Jack and Ron, you might rec Ron you might recall when I was on Tampa Bay Water. I knew and and you were talking about this new um uh line going in in southern Hillsborough County, I just wanna remind you that your corridor makes for a wonderful public purpose. If you put a trail on top of it. Whether it's paved or not paved, um, it allows for the public to go through some pretty some pretty urban suburban areas in a corridor that um We'll have a lot of investment. So I hope someone over there is working on that.
Several speakers Yeah, too. Sorry, I have to go in and I'm the I'm the speaker, first speaker at this presentation. Um my concern with the intersection of Bellamy and 52 is that the Orange Belt Trail is coming right near there and possibly there. We don't know where it's gonna cross for sure yet. And so if you don't have a mixed use, trail on either side of building how how is that gonna work? So I don't really know if the county has really looked looked at that intersection as well because Um it's undetermined how we'll get across 52 in that area and Someone's gotta look at it.
Several speakers Name and address please. Hi. My name's Paul Gandolphi. Uh my wife and I have ten acres just north of the subject property. I want to correct something that said earlier on. The uh Orange Belt Trail is not scheduled or planned for Blandon Road. That was cancelled. So That should not be a factor in your decision. Um The only thing I notice on here is they're wanting home sites of two and a half acres. With a uh Was it the Res One zoning? If they want two and a half acres, why don't they go for ER two, which would then limit them to two and a half acres? Right now if they go with Res1, they can at any time in the future double the density. And they'd be perfectly entitled to do that. So please consider that.
