- MPO letter, impact fees, bridge study
Several speakers Unidentified A: if that house was in existence when the impact fees were adopted.
- Operation Greenlight and sprinkler impact fee
Several speakers Starkey: So can I ask for uh um the ki uh help on paying the impact fee from here?
- MPO letter, impact fees, bridge study
Mariano Okay. So what I what I know about as far as us putting impact fee in and raising through the years, if a housing structure was there. depending on the size would dictate what that size would be. So it was less than fifteen hundred feet, there's a certain fee. If it gets a bigger if it's a bigger unit than that, they would pay the difference to it. Whether they paid impact fee or not does not matter to when these things were set up. It's for new growth coming in. So if there was some crew growth before a house was there, they get credit for whatever the house was, and any new increase in size is where they pay the fees if

Denise So concurrency and impact fees, this is like removing a good deal of legacy information because we have not had transportation concurrency for years and years and years. So it's just removing all the legacy terminology in the section. And then the last item is, I apologize. The next item is defining the term site development placard. Well. All right. So as I stated, there is no action required. If you would please accept public comment. It's the first reading of the ordinance and um the adoption is scheduled for twelve sixth. twenty twenty two at one thirty in Newport Ritchie. And I thank you for Your attention and patience 'cause I know it was a lot of amendments. And I'm here for any questions.
- P92Zoning Amendment (Regular) – Hale-Collier MPUD Master Planned Unit Development – Julia Herndon/Walter and Elizabeth Franzel/The Franzel Family Revocable Trust - A Rezoning Request from A-R Agricultural- Residential and R-1 Rural Density Residential Zoning Districts to an MPUD to allow for a maximum of 109 Single-family Detached Dwelling Units and Associated Infrastructure on Approximately 46.1 Acres
Mariano get away from that. Um I think the larger lot size makes more sense, cuts cuts down your flow and then maybe it enables you to to put in some type of inf infrastructure and sometimes we have developers they actually go out and go off site. and go build more. We we give 'em tr impact fee credits for it, but to go make it safer to go build a sidewalk connecting to another area. This is a very dangerous area on a along a Hale Road to to really look for that. And if you're gonna get in And I'm and I'm just part of the conversation about what's going on Collier with the roadways or the the sidewalk trails. But if a lot of people are gonna go there and You got people that may want to go play golf at Plantation Palms, take a golf cart, how they gonna get out there? So I mean it's it's it's got issues.
- R105Request Authorization to Prepare and Proceed with an Amendment to the 2025 Comprehensive Plan to Adopt the Level of Service Standards in the 2022 Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources Department Capital Plan; and to Prepare and Proceed with an Amendment to the Pasco County Land Development Code to Increase Parks and Recreation Impact Fees to Support the Implementation of the 2022 Capital Plan
Mariano that's not ac that's not accurate because you wouldn't be able to do the impact fee If that was the way you were funding it. So an impact fee by its very definition can only pay for new growth. Right. You have to come up with another source. That's what I'm talking about, MSTU. Yeah. But you have to come up with another source To do backlog and to do maintenance. You can't use the impact fee for that. So to say that new residents are paying for that backlog is not a true statement.
- MPO letter, impact fees, bridge study
Sally Sherman And I uh Commissioner, I saw your email. Sally Sherman, Assistant County Administrator Development Services. I saw your email just less than an hour ago. I know that this has been asked and answered. The way that our mobility fee schedule is set up. Um this the home that they were referring to was back in 1979. I do believe because there was never any impact fee or transportation fees paid on it, the way our code is set up, they still have to pay pay a fee. I will double check, but I know it had been asked and answered and and responded to when uh we looked at it in November, December of last year.
- P58 PDD 220098 Pasadena Hills impact fees ordinance adoption
Several speakers Starkey: All right. P fifty nine.

Mariano So you you can bond impact fee the the problem with bonding impact fee is that you have to in basically insure them because it's not a stable revenue source. Uh but if you the market So you end up you end uh while it is a legitimate revenue source, you almost always uh end up pledging something else to get a better interest rate. Interesting. Okay.

Several speakers Starkey: No, no, I'm not I'm talking about impact transportation impact fee. Moore: Yeah. Starkey: Which is where you get the money to fix the
