Chris Williams Well, I'm just saying that that that were mandated by law to to do that. So So let's say another 13 students show up at Moon Like Elementary School. Um, then we hire have to hire more staff in order to comply with the um class size amendment.
- Angelo's aggregate material conditional use amendment
Chris Williams I kind of have a different view. If I'm driving down the road and I'm doing twenty miles over the speed limit, Who's at fault? Me or the Sheriff's Department or law enforcement? So it's kind of like a catch twenty two there I think in some ways. Yeah, it's up to the company or the vendor or the corporation to take care of these problems. And they should, just like I should all all of us should obey the speed limit. So that's that's what I dwell in my mind when you talk about enforcement of these things is Shame on you, shame on me for going over the speed limit. So that's the way I I view this. So that's why I tend to to uh
- P12Zoning Amendment (Regular) – Horner Property MPUD Master Planned Unit Development – William & Synthia Horner, et al – A Rezoning Request from an A-C Agricultural Zoning District and an I-1 Light Industrial Zoning District to an MPUD Master Planned Unit Development District to Allow a Maximum of 400 Multi-family Apartment Units on 43.42 Acres (Planning Commission (PC): 7/22/21; 1:30 p.m.; NPR)
Chris Williams And then this is going to be to the east of the townhomes that you put in there. Correct. Correct. Correct? And at that time I asked about Children going to school. Remember, I brought up the question about road uh sorry, roads, sidewalks. Uh there's a road there obviously. My concern was that i the I think the school district did not indicate that there would be any busing in this area. But the veterans school is I think less than two miles down the road, so that means the children We'll be walking to that school. Uh that's my concern. I know it's not your your particular project, I mean problem, but it is a concern that I have for the safety of those individuals. So
- P5Zoning Amendment (Regular) – Steven Siller Tunnel to Tower/Parkway Boulevard– Change in Zoning from a PUD Planned Unit Development to a R-4 High Density Residential District – Southcentral Pasco County – on the South Side of Parkway Boulevard, Approximately .5 Miles East of Ehren Cutoff – Containing Approximately 75.15 Acres (PC: 4/22/21, 1:30 p.m.; NPR Hybrid Virtual Meeting, BCC: 5/18/21, 1:30 p.m.; NPR Hybrid Virtual Meeting)
Chris Williams And um a hundred and twenty two ohms We'd expect about twenty two elementary, twelve middle Fifteen high school students. So not a huge impact. Um Pine View Middle are running about capacity, so they're not overrun. Um And then Land O' Lakes High is a little bit over, but we're building a new six through twelve school in in the northern Land O' Lakes that we're we think is gonna draw some students in, so we're not overly concerned with this particular project on school impact. On school impact.

Chris Williams Sure. So as you might imagine, um, you know, the schools along the entire corridor of fifty-four and fifty-six. are challenging right now with the growth. So So we have overcrowded conditions at Starkey Ranch and uh Bexley Elementary and Oakstead Elementary and um Conerton and um many of the Western Chapel schools as well. And so with the with the you know, and so we we are adding capacity. As we can. So we actually have in this area a new K-8 that'll be we're working on constructing to open by 2025. and that school will um Take a look at the easy. probably all of Oakstead's boundary that is currently south of fifty four. So that'll provide significant relief to Oakstead at that time and also provide some relief to Bexley. We are hoping that that K-8 school will have enough capacity that other folks can choice into that school as well who might have um might want to have the K-8 experience and provide additional relief to Oakstead.
