Hayat Mazilli And as a refresher, the comprehensive plan is a long-range planning document that local governments use to manage growth and development. We update it every seven years. And we do update because we are required by Florida statutes to do so. And also we communities need to address the changing needs as populations grow and expand and obviously shift. So it's important to manage this population growth effectively. And we also update because we want to expand our opportunities for the residents as well as improve our planning tools so we are more proactive than reactive and also we're more forward thinking. So the comprehensive plan also, this is a very important part of the comprehensive plan, it outlines a vision for the future. And this vision is translated into goals, objectives, and policies. Amy Understood. Well, I I'll just make I guess my final statement. I believe that the comprehensive plan policies that are in place, as well as the companion land development code, do help protect the proliferation of Res One in this entire area. This particular case. uh doing uh a size in between the typical agricultural lots and the typical residential one lots and it will be served by Well and Septic as in compliance with several policies from the Water Comprehensive Plan Policy Section, the Sewer Comprehensive Plan Policy Section, and the Flu Comprehensive Policy, uh Comprehensive Plan Policy Section. So that that is what I've tried to put put together for this application to support this proposal.

Um so before I get into the next slide uh Uh I wanted to mention that What you're going to find in the comprehensive plan is going to be a strike through an underlying document. We did not completely throw out the old plan. We kept all the good parts, but we updated those outdated parts and and as Terry will talk about and as Hyatt has alluded to, incorporating best practices into the comprehensive plan and really highlighting the vision and the priorities of the community.
